When we built our house, one thing we really wanted was a sitting, or reading area.  Someplace with a couple of comfy chairs and a reading light where one could just relax, away from the TV, computer, and hassles of everday life.  One challenge when decorating a sitting room is how to bring some personality into the room while still keeping it simple.
